We believe progress often finds its genesis in conflict.

Conflict is frequently a prerequisite for change and naturally exists between people, cultures, personalities, departments, profit centers, and throughout the supply chain. It can be destructive, inefficient, and just downright unpleasant. However if properly analyzed and managed, the resolution of conflict can create countless opportunities and landscape changing competitive advantages.

We strongly believe that there are basic, fundamental values shared among all people, that when identified and ratified, can be a unifying and energizing force.

Change and improvement can and must be measured.  However the selection of quantitative indicators must be very carefully analyzed with respect to Guiding Principles.  Absent this analysis the indicators themselves usually are at risk of becoming counterproductive.

Application of this technology is especially appropriate to profit centers to reduce counterproductive interdepartmental competition.  It is critically serious that this is considered in developing performance plans criterea for "At Risk" or bonus pay programs.
